Cornish born and bred, Jackie started her career with the Royal Navy where she gained considerable leadership and team working experience. Here, she developed her project management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
In 2001, she moved back to Cornwall to pursue a career in economic development. She has led project development teams, attracted significant amounts of investment, delivered a number of projects, undertaken large community consultations and organised large-scale events. Her key sector experience is within the marine, aerospace and aviation sectors. Jackie holds an ILM5 in Leadership and Management.
Jackie joined Oxford Innovation as a Business Coach in 2016 and now works as a Finance Specialist on the Access to Finance programme, bringing invaluable knowledge in securing investment from European, national and regional grant regimes.
In her spare time, Jackie is a Girl Guide leader, enjoys keeping fit (with seven marathons completed to date), property development and gardening.
